I’m a writer, journalist and visual artist.

I was born in India and raised in six cities across the country, and have since lived in Colorado, Jerusalem, Germany, and Amman. I’m more accustomed to change & movement than staying still, a lot of which is driven by a curiosity about the stories of people I encounter in diverse settings. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, and a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies. Additionally, I’ve completed courses in National and Transnational Studies from the University of Muenster, Germany, as well as in art and creative writing at DU.

I’ve worked in the fields of journalism, publishing, and the nonprofit sector in Colorado, Jerusalem, Costa Rica, Chennai, and New Delhi. My art and writing has been featured on The Hindu, Atlas Obscura, Scroll.in, The Alipore Post, New Internationalist, Fodor’s Travel, and elsewhere.
